Compass Sensor???, come on!, give a break!, is this a new name for the gps sensor? I've been using the compass that comes with the basic gps application that comes with s60. Certainly is a good idea to have easy to use apps that let the user what they are, so i think this one nails it, but don't use lies to attract people.

No, the compass sensor that is built into the n97 is a magnetometer, not a GPS. GPS can only tell you the direction you are travelling, when you are moving. The digital compass can tell you which direction you are facing, when you are stopped.

Damn, I would like a compass sensor in my E90, I use the Build in GPS compass a lot and it is dependent on your movement in a direction and a connection to the GPS Satellites which is power hungry if you use it for hours e.g. while walking.
